This past weekend the Swell team travelled to Las Vegas, NV for the Las Vegas World Market Center’s retail show. We exhibited our wares and share the story of Swell Vision with a variety of retail buyers from across the country. The team is working to get Swell Shades in retailers near you, so that you will be able to try on all of the products and experience the lightweight, sustainable sunglasses before purchasing.

Now all work and no play would not make for a Swell day, so after each day exhibiting at the Market we saw the sights of Vegas. On our first evening we went down to Old Las Vegas and caught the Spin Doctors’ show. Afterward, Richard and I got to spend some time backstage with Chris, the lead singer, and hear the inside scoop of what it is like being on tour as a rock singer. The following night we saw Le Reve, which was an acrobatic show taking place in a 1,000,000-gallon tank. The performers achieved unbelievable maneuvers from high dives to flying through the air. Lastly we got to check out the art an opulence of the Bellagio, which was particularly impressive – there was even the largest chocolate fountain in their lobby.
